Most of these photographs were taken at the Steamtown National Historic Site in my hometown of Scranton, PA. Steamtown is dedicated to preserving and teaching about the history of the railroads in the United States. Some of the equipment is well-maintained and fully functional, but due to budget constraints, much of it is deteriorating and will not be restored.
